The Minister of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs, Alioune Sall, met this Tuesday with union representatives of the La Poste Group (SNTPT, SYNAP, SYNAPOSTE) to discuss the challenges linked to the restructuring and modernization of the postal sector.

This meeting, initiated by the unions, is part of a process of constructive dialogue aimed at finding solutions to the major issues facing the company.

Among the main subjects discussed, that of regular payment of salaries occupied a central place. The minister reaffirmed the State’s commitment to ensuring the regularity of remuneration from 2025, a crucial measure to guarantee the stability of agents and the continuity of services. Discussions also focused on strengthening the role of La Poste in the public service, ensuring fair remuneration for services while maintaining their accessibility for the population.

Alioune Sall underlined the importance of controlling costs in order to effectively relaunch activities, in a context marked by growing economic and technological challenges. He unveiled an ambitious plan for 2025, focused on stabilizing finances, accelerating the digitalization of services and positioning La Poste as a key player in sectors such as e-commerce, digital banking and platforms. logistics.

The minister also insisted on the need for internal restructuring, by improving processes and developing a suitable training program to support employees in this digital transition. These initiatives are part of a strategic vision of modernization aimed at making La Poste a competitive player in the postal sector.
