Twenty-seven players were called up by the national coach, Jorge Vilda, in anticipation of the next two friendly matches of the Moroccan women’s team, against Botswana and Mali, respectively, on November 28 and December 3.
A press release from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation specifies that these two friendly matches will take place at the Saniat R’mel stadium in Tetouan from 6:00 p.m.
They will serve as preparation for the women’s national team for the African Cup of Nations (CAN) scheduled for July 5 to 26, 2025 in Morocco.
The draw for this competition, carried out Friday evening in Salé, placed the Lionesses of the Atlas in group A, alongside DR Congo, Senegal and Zambia.
