Pastef’s resounding victory in the legislative elections of November 17, 2024 continues to be talked about on the political scene. In the Mbacké department, Ousmane Sonko’s coalition left its opponents no chance, winning almost all the polling stations. A victory which is not to everyone’s taste, since a political leader would have recovered the vouchers which he had given to the women of the village of Touba Cissé.
After her defeat in the legislative elections, a leader of the Pôle Alternative 3e Voie – Kiiraay ak Natangué coalition from Birima Mangara simply recovered the mill and the grinding machine that she had given to the women of the village of Touba Naba Cissé after the victory of Pastef in the legislative elections.
