When and why did you decide to submit your candidacy for the regional election?

I decided to send my candidacy when I was elected in the departmental election, it was obvious for me to run in the regional election. I figured I could try my luck by participating. I was elected on my first attempt in September 2024.

I am quite young so at the beginning I had some doubts about my maturity but I quickly realized that my age did not play a role in this.

Does everyone around you support you?

Everyone around me supports me and is proud of me. My loved ones had no doubts, they followed my adventure via social networks.

What do you say to those who consider the competition outdated, even misogynistic?

I could answer that they don't know the competition and that they only see it on the surface so I would try to explain to them more deeply the basis of Miss France, that it is not just a physique but a state of spirit and a way of being.

What do you think of the evolution of the Miss France competition? Did opening the competition to more varied profiles influence your desire to present yourself?

I find that the evolution of the competition is just incredible because the beauty of women is not just about age and body shape. A woman can be elected “most beautiful woman in France” both at 35 and at 18. Beauty is not a succession of criteria.

The cause I defend is the fight against diabetes.

How do you handle the sudden notoriety that could fall on you on December 14?

By running for this election even when it was still only in the departmental elections, I prepared myself mentally to be able to be recognized, even simply in the street. So, the notoriety that I could have on December 14 does not scare me.

Does seeing Eve Gilles face harassment on social media worry you?

A little but unfortunately there will always be malicious comments so you shouldn't pay attention to them, even if it can sometimes be complicated.
