Morocco and its capital Rabat have been officially designated to host the 2025 edition of the annual congress of the Dutch Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (ANVR), during the closing of this year’s event.
This announcement highlights Morocco’s growing place on the international tourism scene, in line with its ambitious objective of attracting 26 million tourists by 2030, indicates a press release from the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT).
The Dutch market, which recorded remarkable growth of 23% in arrivals in 2024, plays a strategic role in this dynamic, reports the same source.
At the same time, the ONMT is organizing a roadshow from November 18 to 21, 2024 in the main emitting basins of the Benelux, mobilizing 19 Moroccan operators.
This initiative aims to strengthen relations between Moroccan tourism professionals and their Dutch and Belgian counterparts, while highlighting the diversity of Morocco’s tourism offering.
The country also benefits from excellent air connectivity with the region, with more than 1.5 million seats available in 2025.
With its exceptional historical heritage and contemporary dynamism, Rabat will offer an ideal setting for the 2025 edition of the ANVR congress, thus strengthening the visibility of Morocco and its attractiveness as a tourist destination of choice.
