Lhe practices and attitudes towards sexuality are no longer quite the same in 2024 as at the start of the 21st centurye century. This is what the fourth edition of the “Context of sexualities in ” survey reveals, conducted by Inserm (National Institute of Health and Medical Research) and the University of 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. It takes place after the editions of 1970, 1992 and 2006 and is based on the responses of 31,518 people aged 15 to 89 years. The developments are for the most part “in the long term, well before #Metoo”, underlined Nathalie Bajos, sociologist and research director at Inserm, without denying that social mobilization against sexual violence has “modified the frameworks normative standards of consent.
