The director of the Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (Arp), Dr Alioune Ibnou Abou Talib Diouf, affirmed his commitment to optimize the control of medicines and vaccines.
During his visit to the Directorate of Control and Quality, Professor Djibril Fall stressed the importance of reaching the level of maturity for vaccines, in addition to maintaining it for medicines.
He expressed his pressing need for additional financial resources and qualified human resources.
Currently, the management is aspiring for ISO 1705 accreditation and is planning training programs in India, Egypt, South Africa and Botswana.
The difficulties of reagent availability and the number of samples analyzed in 2023 compared to 2022 were discussed.
Dr Alioune Diouf is committed to providing the necessary resources to achieve ambitious performance targets and international standards.
