The Ndella Madior Diouf nursery affair has taken a new turn. According to our colleagues at Les Echosseveral people charged, but released provisionally, fled. If they cannot be found, a deficiency report will be drawn up to indicate their absence.

In the so-called “Keur Yeurmandé” affair, twists and turns took place. Some of Ndella Madior Diouf’s co-defendants, arrested with her, had been placed on provisional release. These are his assistant, Cheikh Tidiane Ndiaye, Djiby Sow, the goalkeeper, and El Hadji Sène, presenter at “Saphir FM”. According to Les Echos, several of these defendants fled, which was noted after investigations. Consequently, a deficiency report will be drawn up if they cannot be found. This document, signed by the clerk, will formalize their absence, and will be countersigned by the investigating judge.

For her part, Ndella Madior Diouf, incarcerated for almost a year (since December 2023), still wants to get out of detention. She filed a new request for provisional release on October 30. In this request, she indicates that she offers “all the guarantees of legal representation”, affirming that there is no risk of “subordination of witnesses” in this case.

It should be recalled that Ndella Madior Diouf, during her hearing, denied all the accusations brought against her, in particular those of involuntary homicide, complicity, human trafficking, illegal exercise of the medical profession, deprivation feeding and care leading to death, unlawful issuance of death and burial certificates, as well as endangering the lives of others. Other defendants, such as his assistant Cheikh Tidiane Ndiaye, Djiby Sow and El Hadji Sène, are also being prosecuted for having clandestinely buried two deceased babies in the nursery.
