The results of the 22nd session (November 4 to 12 in Conakry) of the Cames aggregation competition in human medicine, pharmacy, odontostomatology, veterinary medicine and animal production (Mhpomvpa) are known. Senegal performed well by occupying first place with a success rate of 97.62%. The information is from Professor Bara Ndiaye, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry at Ucad. He spoke with “Le Soleil” from Conakry where he took part in this major Cames meeting.

“The results of Senegal’s participation can be considered very positive. Indeed, out of 42 candidates from the various public universities in Senegal, we had 41 admitted,” informs Mr. Ndiaye in a document. He specified that Ucad came out with 28 admitted out of 29 candidates presented. The other universities (Ugb, Assane Seck University of Ziguinchor, Iba Der Thiam University, Alioune Diop University of Bambey) which presented candidates each had a 100% success rate.

“As a reminder, the success rate after all the tests is 87.87%. Senegal obtained a rate of 97.62%. This result allowed our country to occupy first place,” explained Professor Bara Ndiaye. He revealed that 11 Senegalese candidates came out on top from their jury.
