After a record edition, the Maxi-Rires Festival returns from April 7 to 12, 2025 in Champéry (VS) to cheer up the Swiss zygomatics like never before. Opening, Viktor Vincent (April 7) will play with your mind thanks to a mentalism show that blurs the line between real and unreal. Then, this 17th edition continues with the Genevan Alexandre Kominek (April 7), armed with his caustic humor and a show entitled “Sensitive Bastard”; a cocktail between provocation and sweetness that stings like a caress… Or the opposite.
On the impertinence side, Marie s’infiltre (April 8) arrives in Valais with “Culot” – a promise of an uninhibited evening where taboos take a forced vacation. Three Belgians determined to make people laugh at our little daily struggles will also be there: Véronique Gallo (April 8), GuiHome (April 9) and Guillermo Guiz (April 12) will take turns to offer authenticity, self-deprecation and a few nuggets of life. As for the sure values, the festival marks the return of D’jal (April 9) and his concentrated love “In full consciousness”, Issa Doumbia (April 10) with his cinematic stand-up, and Michaël Gregorio (April 11) , who will mix humor and voice in his show entitled “The Odyssey of the Voice”.
Finally, in a nod to local nostalgia, Frédéric Recrosio (April 10) makes an expected return with a show resembling lullabies and Elena Nagapetyan (April 12) will close in style, proving that laughing at drama is the best remedy. In short, a program not to be missed – even if you may have to go armed with abs of steel.
