Pastef leader Ousmane Sonko took a firm decision in the face of the electoral violence that occurred in Saint-Louis, involving armed individuals. The Pastef party leader accuses Barthélémy Dias and his Sam Sa Kaddu coalition of being responsible for the attacks and promises to react accordingly.
“To all the patriots of the country, Barthélémy Dias and his coalition must no longer campaign in this country,” he declared. Sonko emphasizes that his party has been attacked on several occasions, notably in Dakar, Koungheul, Saint-Louis, Louga, and Mbacké. He recalls that complaints have been filed and visual evidence exists, but “so far, no arrests have been made”.
