This was a project awaited for several months. Neustark, the Bernese start-up booming in the production of recycled concrete, has joined forces with Services Industriels de Genève (SIG) on the site of the Aïre wastewater treatment plant (STEP), in the canton of Geneva. A pilot project for CO2 capture has been developed on the Geneva factory site so that it can be reused by Neustark and not released into the atmosphere. The German-speaking group stores the gas in limestone which will then be used in the construction of concrete.
