The Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza announced on Sunday the deaths of 30 people, including 13 children. They were killed in two Israeli air attacks on two separate homes in the Gaza Strip.

(Keystone-ATS) A first strike left “at least” 25 dead, “including 13 children”, in a family home in Jabalia, in the north of Gaza, and “more than 30 injured” early in the morning, Civil Defense said.
Palestinian emergency services also reported another Israeli strike on a house in the al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City, which left five people dead and others missing. “A number of civilians are still under the rubble,” they said.
The Israeli army is engaged against the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas and other armed groups in the Gaza Strip, as well as against the Lebanese Islamist movement Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The war was sparked by the October 7, 2023 attack on Israeli territory by Hamas. More than 43,550 Palestinians were killed in Israeli reprisals on the Gaza Strip, mostly civilians, according to data from the Hamas government’s Health Ministry for Gaza, deemed reliable by the UN.
