Winner at the PSF Deauville last month, Siam Paragon (Shalaa) scored a second success in a row with ease in the Prix Porlezza (Class 2). Seen in 2nd position nose to wind, the representative of Claire Stephenson took the lead 200 m from the goal and broke away to triumph by 3 lengths ahead of Sous La Neige (Shalaa). Bred by Mohamed Almahmoud, Siam Paragon was purchased for €12,000 by MAB Agency at the Arqana & Osarus October yearling sale, while he was presented by Haras des Marais. He is a grandson of Tottie (Fantastic Light), winner of the Suwannee River Stakes (Gr.3) over 1,800 meters at Gulfstream Park. Photo APRH.
