Three semi-trailers were engulfed in flames early Saturday morning in the Saint-Laurent borough of Montreal.

The three semi-trailers were set on fire in a private driveway near the intersection of Etingin and Douglas-B.-Floreani streets. Authorities received the call around 4:35 a.m.

The flames were quickly brought under control by firefighters. No one was injured in the incident.

The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) is responsible for the investigation.
“No criminal element was found on the scene, but, according to the firefighters, the fire was of suspicious origin,” said SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant. For this reason, the investigation was transferred to the arson section of the SPVM.”
“The investigators will travel today [samedi] on the scene to analyze it and try to understand the circumstances,” he added.
