Selections from the 66th Grammy Awards | Beyoncé in the lead, Kaytranada and Yannick Nézet-Séguin cited three times

Singer Beyoncé will be the big favorite at the next Grammy Awards ceremony, on February 2, 2025, in Los Angeles, having been selected in 11 categories for her album Cowboy Carterthe Recording Academy announced Friday.

Quebecer Kaytranada is cited three times. His most recent album Endless is among the finalists in the electro album of the year category. One of his pieces, Witchymade with Childish Gambino, is among the best electro dance recordings. Finally, the resumption of KaytranadaAlter Egoby rapper Doechii and JT, is in the running in the best remix category.

The name of Yannick Nézet-Séguin is in the list of selected three times. Two of the works he directed (Catán – Florence In The Amazon and Puts – The Hours) are competing in the best opera recording category. His work with the London Symphony Orchestra on the film music Maestro is selected in the category of best soundtracks for visual media.
