The PI welcomed the creation of the Mohammed VI Foundation for MRE, as well as the restructuring of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad, in order to strengthen the integration of the diaspora in the country’s development dynamic. These initiatives aim to improve services provided to the diaspora, simplify administrative procedures and strengthen their role in the economic, cultural and social sectors of Morocco.
The executive commission particularly highlighted the importance of these reforms to open new horizons to the diaspora and consolidate links between Moroccans around the world and their country of origin. This includes concrete measures to improve the business climate and promote investment for Moroccans living abroad.
The royal speech, according to the PI, consolidated the main lines of Moroccan policy in terms of development, territorial unity and international cooperation. The Party welcomes the progress made under the leadership of the King, in particular the recognition of the Moroccan character of the Sahara by the majority of United Nations member states and world powers.
