In this regard, the minister explained that these measures consist of providing 1.3 million quintals of certified seeds for cereals at prices relatively lower than those of the previous campaign.
It also involves subsidizing, for the first time, certified seeds of food and fodder legumes (between 20% and 26% of the production cost) and supplying the national market with 650,000 tonnes of phosphate fertilizers at the same prices. than those of the past campaign.
El Bouari also reported the continuation of support for the purchase of nitrogen fertilizers, which concerns 200,000 tonnes, as well as the strengthening of agricultural insurance through a new system based on the increase in the insured capital in the areas favorable conditions and the establishment of a specific insurance scheme for other areas.
To this end, the minister indicated that it is planned to insure 1 million ha within the framework of multi-risk climate insurance for cereals, legumes and oilseed crops, as well as 50,000 ha within the framework of the Comprehensive insurance for fruit trees.
