Donald Trump held a meeting at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday, October 27, city which voted 75% against Donald Trump in 2020. Among the room attendants, between Elon Musk and Robert Francis Kennedy Junior, there was Tony Hinchcliffe.

The comedian, also known as Tony Kill, launched into a long monologue peppered with racist jokes, in front of 22,000 Donald Trump supporters. “We're living in crazy times. There's way too much going on. I don't know if you know this, but there's literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean. And I think it's calls Puerto Rico”, said Tony Hinchcliffe.

The reactions were quick, particularly in the Democratic camp. “Who is this idiot?” said Tim Walz, Kamala Harris' running mate. The Vice President of the United States was in Philadelphia, where she developed her projects for the black and Latin American communities.

Several stars from the island were quick to react and provide their support to Kamala Harris, such as the prince of reggaeton Bad Bunny and Ricky Martin. Because the stakes are high, Americans of Puerto Rican origin could make the difference on November 5 in certain states such as Florida. The Republicans have understood this well and are trying to put out the fire: they hastened to explain that “this joke does not reflect the views of President Trump”.
