Winner of the WTT Champions organized in , Félix Lebrun also (a little) filled his bank account.

Félix Lebrun entered a new dimension on Sunday in Montpellier. By winning the WTT Champions organized in Hérault, the French table tennis player won the best title of his (young) career and also became the first European player to win in a tournament in this category.

The bronze medalist in could therefore savor after his victory in the final against the Japanese Tomokazu Harimoto.
“I played at my best level and when I play at that level, I can compete and beat the best players in the world. I'm super happy with this. Knowing that for a year, I am the title holder of this Champions in Montpellier, it’s crazy”he confided in front of the microphones.

And Félix Lebrun could be all the more satisfied as this victory is also synonymous with a nice little check. While the tournament's prize money amounted to 500,000 euros, the Frenchman actually won a check for 27,600 euros. Note that his two bronze medals won during the Paris Games had already earned him a check for 40,000 euros.
