Europe absent in the race towards Uranus

There are rovers on Mars, probes towards Jupiter, ships diving into the rings of Saturn… And Uranus in all this? The seventh planet of our Solar System seems very alone more than 2 billion kilometers from our Earth. And yet, a mission is underway to explore it.

Uranus Orbiter and Probe was discussed again this May at NASA, and was even named a priority during the Planetary Science and Astrobiology Decadal Survey” of the American agency, which establishes the importance of future projects.
