The EpiCURA hospital center has just taken a new step in its commitment to the quality and safety of care by obtaining Novalis certification. This prestigious distinction attests to the establishment’s compliance with the strictest standards in terms of stereotactic treatments, thus offering an additional guarantee to patients regarding the quality of the care received.
Stereotactic treatments, with great precision, are used to target small tumors, whether in the skull or in other organs such as the lungs, liver, bones and prostate. In 2017, EpiCURA invested in two latest generation accelerators, one of which is specially dedicated to radiosurgery and intra and extra cerebral stereotaxy. This investment allowed the radiotherapy team to implement procedures and protocols that meet the most rigorous quality standards.
This not only allowed standardization of practices, but also effective coordination between the different trades involved and a strengthening of ongoing staff training. This approach also favored the identification and resolution of preventive risks, thus guaranteeing the safety and effectiveness of treatments for patients.
