Many saw it coming – more or less favorably. Six months ago, in an electric atmosphere, Marc Atallah announced his departure from the Maison d’Ailleurs, a Yverdon museum dedicated to science fiction, and thus from the Numerik Games festival of which he was the founder. A decision provoked by disagreements, a pressing need for freedom… and other projects at hand? Confirmation this Monday at the University of Lausanne, where Marc Attalah truly revealed the contours of his brand new cultural reverie which will materialize precisely there, on campus, at the beginning of September: the Digital Dreams Festival.

Co-produced by Unil, the event is in line with the Numerik Games: a festival which explores, over a weekend, the kaleidoscope of digital cultures through a reflective and festive, cultural and technological program. In total, around forty activities will enliven the area known as “Dorigny”, to the east of the campus, alternating concerts, artistic performances, workshops, exchange spaces, virtual reality… and video games, of course.
