Servette Chênois will not participate in the group stage of the Women’s Champions League. The Genevans, in front of some 2,000 schoolchildren invited by the Department of Public Education, sank in the first half against AS Roma.

In pouring rain and on an increasingly soggy pitch, the Garnets did not look like the team which, during the first leg in the Italian capital, had stood up to their opponents. While losing 3-1. This Wednesday evening, Servette Chênois sank. Final score: 2-7.

Victoria, 12 and a half years old, experienced at least one great satisfaction: the Servette Chênois junior was able to walk onto the Praille lawn, before kick-off, holding the hand of the Servetti goalkeeper. Then like her, on the stands, 6107 spectators encouraged the courageous local team until the last minute of play.
