Brahim Diaz’s moving message after his injury

In a message full of positivity, the Lion of the Atlas, Brahim Diaz published this Monday, September 16 on his social networks.

“I am sad about my injury, but there is one day less to come back. We have to face small obstacles that make us stronger. Until I recover, I will help and encourage the team like a fan in every game”he first wrote.

“Thank you all for your affection. It’s much easier this way. I can’t wait to see you again and enjoy ourselves together! See you soon,” concluded the number 10 of the National Team.

“After the tests carried out today by the club’s medical services, our player Brahim Díaz has been diagnosed with an injury to the long abductor muscle of his right leg. We will follow his evolution,” the Madrid club had specified yesterday in a press release published on its official website.

The Moroccan felt a sharp pain in the back of his right thigh around the 20th minute against Real Sociedad (0-2) on Saturday. After informing the technical staff, he tried to continue playing by doing some short high-intensity runs to test himself.

Unfortunately, his effort to stay on the pitch aggravated his injury. Despite his willingness to continue, the player was unable to continue and, in the 23rd minute, he collapsed to the ground and asked to be replaced.

Following this injury, Brahim Diaz will miss the next two matches of the Atlas Lions against the Central African Republic in October, as part of the CAN 2025 qualifiers.
