Gunshots in a corridor

Two teachers of the Risbergska campus, Miriam Jarlevall and Patrik Soderman, told Dagens Nyheter to hear shots in a corridor.

“Students came to tell us that someone was shooting. Then we heard other shots in the corridor. We did not get out, we hid in our offices. ”

“There were a lot of shots at the start, then calm settled for half an hour, before it starts again. We were lying under our offices, curled up, ”they added.

Students in the teaching center and neighboring schools were confined for several hours before being gradually evacuated. Parents in shock awaited their children outside the cord.

“It’s crazy”

“It’s crazy, absolutely crazy. I’m angry, I’m shocked. It should not happen like this. Schools should be sure, both for adults and for children and young people, “CIA Sandell, 42, told AFP, a self -employed worker who was waiting for her children, healthy but who were confined for several hours in A school in the area.

Two months earlier, a 16 -year -old was arrested after having injured another student and a teacher with a knife in a school in the small town of Kristianstad.

In October 2015, three people were killed during a racist attack in a school in the city of Trollhättan, in the west of the country, by an assailant armed with a saber, who was then killed by police .
