Transfers – Racing 92: Hassane Kolingar extends, a Wallaby in the sights

Hassane Kolingar and Vinaya Habosi have just extended their contracts for four and two seasons respectively at Racing 92. The club has also positioned itself on the number 8 of the Waratahs, international Rob Leota.

This is two excellent news for Racing 92: Kolingar and Habosi will be Parisians in the long term. Fijian Vinaya Habosi, who joined the club in 2022, has had his contract extended for a further two years. Habosi, a fast and impactful winger, has quickly established himself in the club’s playing system with his solid performances and his sense of the game. Habosi, still young, has significant potential for progression, and this extension demonstrates the confidence he has grants the club.

Hassane Kolingar: a leader for tomorrow

The other major extension concerns Hassane Kolingar, 26-year-old left pillar, who sees his contract extended by four additional seasons. Kolingar, who made his Top 14 debut with Racing 92, has become a central part of the front row. His solidity in scrum, his energy in the game and his leadership temperament on the field make him a key player in the Racing collective. This extension, which will bind him to the club until 2029, demonstrates Racing 92’s desire to build a solid and competitive team over the long term. Kolingar is seen as one of the pillars of the team’s future.

22 selections for Leota

Furthermore, the Ile-de- leaders are on the trail of significant reinforcement in the third line. This is Waratahs and Wallabies number 8 Rob Leota (27 years old, 22 caps). A video took place between the two parties but it remains to be seen whether the player will want to give up on the selection two years from the Australian World Cup…
