The first development work on the former Gaborit property, at 74, rue du Center in Barbâtre, on the island of Noirmoutier (Vendée) began on Monday January 6, 2025.

This work involves the demolition of several buildings; it should last 40 days depending on weather conditions.

“Revitalize the neighborhood and accommodate young working people”

These works, with machines and trucks, will disturb the relative tranquility of the neighborhood and the town center.

“The municipality thanks you for your kindness and understanding. This development aims to revitalize this neighborhood and accommodate young working people,” she underlines in a press release.
