Bang Chan will not participate in the group’s upcoming events due to health concerns.
On January 12, JYP Entertainment announced that Bang Chan would be absent from Stray Kids’ upcoming activities due to health reasons.
The agency said:
“Hello, this is JYPE.
We inform you that Stray Kids member Bang Chan will not be able to participate in the following programs scheduled for today due to sudden flu symptoms.

As recommended by medical professionals, Bang Chan is currently taking adequate rest. The decision to exclude Bang Chan was made for the safety of the artist and fans. We would like to apologize to the STAYs who were looking forward to its activities and ask for your kind understanding.
The winners of the SOUNDWAVE Korea videocall and fansign and the StarRiver China videocall will be informed individually with more details.
JYPE will place the highest priority on the artist’s health and provide everything it can to support Bang Chan’s speedy recovery.
