A day that the singer will probably never forget… This Monday, January 6, Pascal Obispo was on the Télématin set. And during his appearance, the artist who will celebrate his 60th birthday in a few days, on January 8, took stock of his impressive career, thus evoking the most significant moments of his life. If the interpreter of Lucie intends, as a new decade approaches, to drastically change his habits – and thus gradually abandon social networks –, he spoke in particular about a moment which profoundly marked his life: the day when he found A “severed arm” on the road.
Pascal Obispo marked forever: “It was a bit complicated“
Indeed, in front of Flavie Flament and Julien Arnaud, the singer recounted that one day, while he was driving his vehicle, he stopped on the side of the road in order to rescue a man who had been the victim of a driver. “I just picked up a man on a road. I actually picked up his arm and pulled him to the side of the road and simply called the fire brigade. It was a bit complicated to pick up a severed arm, which he obviously didn't recover“, he confided, with a heavy heart. But once the firefighters arrived, the artist left the scene and had no news of the injured man.
Pascal Obispo: he met the man he rescued
But if for a time, Pascal Obispo never heard from the man he saved, he was surprised to cross his path again a few years later. “I found this man a few years later and discovered he was in a chair [roulante] and he was missing an arm and part of a leg“, he recalled. Responding on behalf of Nicolas Lacambre, this man then, according to the singer's words, wanted to thank him for stopping and helping him that day. “Without you, I wouldn't be here anymore“, he would have told her that day, grateful. All's well that ends well then.
