Janet Jackson doesn’t want her son to grow up like her, in the spotlight

Janet Jackson has no intention of repeating the same pattern. The singer recently revealed on British television that she does not intend to let her seven-year-old child, Eissa, follow in her footsteps in the entertainment industry until he reaches the age of majority. It is a matter of principle for Michael Jackson’s sister, who will nevertheless encourage her son to pursue his own path when the time comes.

“It’ll be up to him, if that’s what he wants,” she recently told the show. Loose Women when asked if she envisions a music career for her son. “But I would say he has to wait until he’s an adult and makes sure that’s what he wants to do. Whatever you do, it’s very difficult. The industry is very difficult, but he has to wait until he’s 18.”
