“I have other plans”

Questioned during M6's “12.45”, the performer of “Lacs du Conemmara” details the reasons for his stage retirement. And Michel Sardou is sorry not to have no longer the same voice » : « However, my ranges are very high in my songs, that's the problem. That's all it is! It's not saying that I no longer like the stage or that I no longer like to sing… It's that you have to sing the same as what people have in their memory “. For the artist with 100 million records sold, it is therefore mainly a question of tone quality: “ You drop your tone and then people say to themselves: “Even the old man, perhaps he should rest…” ».

However, Michel Sardou ensures working on “ other projects » : « There is always a film project, it is being written. I've already done it, so I know what it is, I know where I'm going… Plus, I have a role that I like: a kind of returning vigilante that you absolutely don't expect. not ! “. Facing Nathalie Renoux, the singer took the opportunity to tackle Emmanuel Macron and explained the recipe for a hit that crosses generations: “ A song has to sound like someone. Whether it is a story of love, of position, they must recognize each other. In my head, the audience has never been a spectator, but a partner “. Take note!
