Everything smiles at Zaho of Sagzan, who will have lived a year 2024 in the firmament. Revelation of the year 2023, everything has accelerated in recent months for the singer from Saint-Nazaire following her quadruple triumph at the Victoires de la Musique. In the wake of this unanimous coronation, the artist saw his album “La symphonie des éclairs” take off in the charts while the single of the same name became a huge hit, certified diamond for more than 50 million plays. In parallel, Zaho de Sagazan continued her marathon tour, which took her to all the biggest venues in but also to the Olympia for two masterful concerts, while shining in then at the Olympics by covering “Modern Love” by David Bowie and “Under the Sky” by Edith Piaf. “ Having a packed tour is a consecration, doing Zenith, seeing people smile and singing your songs… It's one more thing in all this madness. I'm so happy, it applauds our work » puts the French star into perspective at the microphone of Purecharts.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart”

While she is currently in the United States for a few concerts, Zaho de Sagazan receives, a little early, the best Christmas gift: his first album “La symphonie des éclairs” has just crossed the milestone of 200,000 copies sold and is therefore certified double platinum. ! “ This is completely crazy, thank you from the bottom of my heart » reacted the interpreter of “Tristesse”, who shares for the occasion the first demo of what would become his hit “La symphonie des éclairs”: “ At the time, I had no idea that the words I was searching for would find their way into so many hearts ».

According to Purecharts calculations, the milestone will officially be exceeded this Friday since the record has exactly 198,000 sales, including 146,000 since the start of the year. Enough to allow it to be one of the 10 biggest successes of 2024 in France! A superb score boosted by its success at the Victoires de la Musique but also the release, at the end of October, of a reissue containing in particular a magnificent duet with his idol Tom Odell, “Old Friend”. And it's not over: in 2025, Zaho de Sagazan will continue his world tour in Canada, throughout Europe and in France, before finishing in style with a 10-date residency at the Olympia from September 3 to 16. The 28,000 available places were snapped up in a few days.
