The 2024 Telethon couldn't have dreamed of a better godfather than Mika. The singer of British and Lebanese origin has a particularly committed and engaging profile. Against school bullying and for marriage for all, he added his name to UNICEF in order to provide aid to Lebanese victims of the war in the Middle East.
Sponsoring this new edition of the Telethon gave him an alarming insight into the emergency situation in which rare disease research also finds itself. “We're starting to feel the pressurehe alerted on the RTL microphone. When we say that there are no small donations, more than ever I will reinforce it”. Because donations, no matter their size, “it’s better than anything”.
