Mariah Carey refuses to admit that her famous Christmas song All I Want For Christmas (Is You) had reached a new record.
The 55-year-old icon is considered by many to be the official queen of Christmas thanks to her timeless classic.

However, the singer struggled to admit that her 1994 hit is now officially 30 years old.
“I don’t like the words ‘time’ and ‘thirty’, so I don’t know what that means,” she joked on the show Capital Breakfastbefore saying that she had the impression that her song had been released “30 minutes” earlier.
However, despite her reluctance on the radio, Mariah Carey seems to take full advantage of the anniversary of her festive title which she reissued this year with a new cover. The pop star shared the news in October on social media: “Although it’s not time to listen to Christmas music yet… I wanted to share a sneak peek of the new cover. I wanted to give you a sneak peek at #MerryChristmas30! »
Posing in a Santa jumpsuit for one of the images, and a cream dress for the second, Mariah Carey added: “In homage to the original album cover, here are the covers for two of the four new singles All I Want For Christmas (Is You). »
