After a decade of absence, Adam Gontier, the emblematic singer of Three Days Grace, returns to the group with the release of the single Mayday. This title marks a new chapter for the Canadian group and an unprecedented vocal collaboration between Gontier and Matt Walst.
Mayday : A cry of resilience
Produced by Zakk Cervini and Dan Lancaster, with vocal production by Howard Benson, Mayday captures the emotional state of a world on the brink. In a press release, the group declared: “This title reflects a disturbing combination of disillusionment, exhaustion and denial. Even though we feel like we are barely surviving, we continue to move forward, one step at a time.”
The official music video, directed by CiRCUS HEaD, accompanies the track with powerful and immersive visuals.
