Offset’s last visit to , where he planned to collaborate with French rapper Gazo, turned into drama when an argument related to the filming of a music video escalated into a fight between their entourage.

As they prepared to shoot the video for their new song in the French capital, Offset, former member of the rap group Migos, was involved in a violent altercation with Gazo’s team. Videos of the fight, which took place on a Parisian street, quickly circulated online.

The American artist and his entourage were leaving the Hôtel du Collectionneur, after spending time with the French rapper earlier in the evening. In the videos, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is first filmed getting into a car before getting out after being aggressively approached by members of Gazo’s team.

The altercation then broke out when someone punched Offset, who fought back before security intervened. Tensions between those around the two artists intensified: heated exchanges took place, one man was attacked and found himself shirtless, while another was injured in the head after a kick. “I’m going to shoot you,” the American rapper can be heard shouting, struggling against security, to the cries of witnesses.

A collaboration that is still relevant today?

Despite the officers’ efforts to calm the situation, Offset managed to free himself and return to the street, where he continued to fight before being rushed back to the hotel. A woman from his entourage also tried to intervene by throwing her shoes at the opponents, but she was violently thrown to the ground. The musician, visibly furious, was then filmed in the lobby of the establishment, wanting to free himself to join the fight. During this time, members of Gazo’s team allegedly made threats, including shouting: “Paris is finished for you.”

According to TMZ, the confrontation broke out when the French rapper’s entourage, unhappy with having spent 150,000 dollars (around 142,000 euros) for the filming of a video, demanded a refund due to Offset’s non-compliance with certain commitments. . Faced with his refusal, the situation worsened.

As of yet, neither star has publicly commented on the incident. However, Gazo, who was absent during the fight, posted a photo on Instagram, announcing their collaboration for the title “Wemby”, inspired by French NBA star Victor Wembanyama. This song is featured on his upcoming album, “Apocalypse,” due out November 29. The two rappers seemed peaceful in the photo, sharing a drink in a restaurant.

Hours after the fight, Offset posted a selfie in his hotel room mirror on Instagram, along with a message: “I regret this bullshit so much. Next year, everyone focuses on music. Earlier in the evening, the musician was in Paris in the “Luks Kebab” restaurant, where he would have received 10,000 pounds sterling (around 12,000 euros) for a five-minute whirlwind visit, according to TMZ.

In recent weeks, the artist has especially stood out because of his private life: his wife, rapper Cardi B, has just filed for divorce for the third time after six years of marriage, then that they welcomed their 3rd child last September. The couple has a daughter Kulture, 6 years old, and a son Wave, 3 years old.
