The four artists of the rock group Asteréotypie have enjoyed incredible success across France. Suffering from autistic disorders, they write unique texts that break the codes. Encounter.

In Besançon, in , special artists perform on stage. The group Asteréotypie is made up of neuroatypical singers and a singer. The four members are autistic and travel across France together. Their texts chanted to rock music with infectious energy seduce the public. “Their lyrics are super beautiful and their music is powerful”comments a spectator under the spell. Claire Ottaway, the singer, happily takes part in the autograph game.

Their meeting dates back to the 2010s. Christophe Lhuillier, a former educator in a medical-educational institute, had the idea of ​​putting his students’ writings to music. Today he sings with one of them, Stanislas Carmont, who has become his friend and colleague. In addition to lighting up the stages, Stanislas is now an actor. “We are here to grow, to vibrate”explains Yohann Goetzmann, another singer in the group, who confirms that the lyrics are imbued with their feelings. “Writing texts that are part of the OCDs you have, of phrases that you repeat, is to make something positive of them, to be stronger than the OCDs”underlines Stanislas.
