The M6 ​​show “ The best regional cuisine is at home! » stops in the Grand-Est this week. A jury, notably composed of Norbert and the starred chef Yoann Contejudges every day the recipes of two restaurateurs from the region who compete in a duel. This Wednesday, November 13 we will have a 100% Alsace match with Yves and Yoann, from the restaurant “ At Old Armand » in Berrwiller and the brothers Franck and Steve, from the restaurant « At the Relais du » in Mertzwiller. “ Behind the scenes it was impressive, both complex and funny. It was a great experienceand Norbert is true to himself, he was on point! We got some off-the-record advice », lance Franck Labbé, cook and manager of Au Relais du Bois.

Show the culinary beauty of the Alsatian region

For Franck and his brother, participating in this show was a huge opportunity to bring visibility at the restaurant. But above all it is a source of pride for them, who can represent Alsace as it should be. “I made the choice to show somewhat forgotten recipes like Preskopf and Buwespätzle. These are truly grandmother's recipes which are gradually being lost, I wanted to show the culinary beauty of the Alsatian region outside of classic and tourist dishes », detailed Franck Labbé. In addition to discovering the establishment through the show and the duel, surprises will take place. “In animation, you will normally be able to see Norbert creating Buwespätzle!», says Franck Labbé with a smile.
