Sanguisugabogg returns to the studio for a third album

Death metal band Sanguisugabogg, from Columbus, Ohio, announced on social media that they are actively working on their third studio album, which will follow the powerful Homicidal Ecstasy released in February 2023.

After hitting hard with Homicidal Ecstasyan album that shook the death metal scene at the beginning of last year, Sanguisugabogg returns to composition for a third opus highly anticipated by fans. In a simple Instagram post, the group made the news official by writing: “Writing LP 3”. A concise but effective announcement, which was enough to arouse the enthusiasm of fans.

Although the group has not yet specified a release date or shared additional details, this new creation looks promising, especially after the impact of their last album under the Century Media label.

A charity show to help a friend

Alongside this announcement, the members of Sanguisugabogg recently revealed that they will be organizing a charity concert to support a friend in need. This show will take place on November 23 in Evansville, Indiana, and will feature several bands, including Cold Hard Steel, Narcotic Rot, Weeded Out, Dark Deal, and High Strung. All profits will be used to fund the medical costs of their friend, who suffers from degenerative disc disease. Tickets are on sale for $20, and the event is open to all ages.
