A beautiful story… To promote the release of his album “La vie, l’amour, etc…”, Michel Fugain was the guest of “On refait la télé”, Saturday November 9, on RTL. It was an opportunity for him to speak about his return to the “Star Academy”, about his refusal to be a marketing product and to perform in big concert halls, or even about his age.
“I am not a teacher at all”
During this interview, host Eric Dussart also said: “I come back to what Mimie Mathy said in the extract we just heard here, when she spoke of your compliments with irony. You had quite cash educational, pedagogical methods. Was it the pedagogy of electroshock, of the bulldozer?”. To respond to him, Michel Fugain declared: “Quite frankly, I am not an educator at all. On the other hand, Mimie, at one point, she used her handicap, since you call it that, to find a place within a group of friends”.
Eric Dussart did not fail to respond to these comments by asking: “Make it a strength too?”. The unforgettable interpreter of “Fait comme l’oiseau”, “I won’t have time”, “Attention ladies and gentlemen” explained: “Yeah yeah, to exist. And then I grabbed him there, I said “Come here, I need to talk to you”. And I said: “But it doesn’t exist, you don’t have to do anything. You don’t have to worry about the fact that you have some kind of disability. You are a big girl, if you don’t live like a big girl, you will always be a little girl and that’s not possible. First of all, that’s not the goal and then that’s not how you become great in this profession, in this type of profession.”.

On RTL, Michel Fugain then clarified about the actress who has hosted the series “Joséphine Ange Gardien” on TF1 since 1997: “She stopped immediately and she did well, because it should be noted that Mimie’s career is something very, very, very exceptional.”.
