Interviewed by Tele-LeisureMichel Drucker spoke about his plans for this 2024-2025 season. With in particular a special program which should delight fans of Jean-Jacques Goldman…
Having retired for more than 20 years, Jean-Jacques Goldman has abandoned public life to devote himself exclusively to his family, and seems to be doing very well. Not a studio album since 2001 and Songs for the feet. For a long time conductor of Bastardsthe singer even left the famous troupe of artists in 2016 (although still involved) to move towards other horizons. Yet he and his countless hits never really leave our hearts. This is evidenced by its usual first place in the ranking of the French’s favorite personalities. True to himself, he only very rarely comes out of retirement and above all very discreetly to write a song for CM2 students or respond to one of his fans by sending him a handwritten letter. And that’s about it…
A special broadcast by Michel Drucker on Jean-Jacques Goldman
Like all French people, Michel Drucker has never forgotten Jean-Jacques Goldman. Back on France 3 for the 27th season of Looking forward to Sunday since September 2024, the stainless host has been working behind the scenes to prepare a special show around the interpreter of When the Music is good. History of enjoying the holiday season with its hits: “It will be broadcast at Christmas with Michael Jones. He will be accompanied by the musicians of Jean-Jacques Goldman”explained the former presenter of Champs-Élysées. As was to be expected, the artist will unfortunately not be present (it would have been too good).
“I’m preparing a special Daniel Balavoine Sunday for the first of 2025”tells us Michel Drucker
Michel Drucker then ends the year 2024 on December 29 with a figure from the small window: Patrick Sébastien. “We’re dedicating a whole Roll on Sunday to him because he left his mark on television. He’s a great creator. I’m very happy that he accepted. We’re going to record it at the end of November or the beginning of December”confided Michel Drucker. The year 2025 of Looking forward to Sunday will also start with an event number: “I am preparing a Daniel Balavoine special for the premiere, on January 5, with Louis Chedid, who was his great friend, and Liane Foly, who sang Balavoine (on the album Acoustic)“. Before another on “Lino Ventura with Claude Lelouch and Françoise Fabian, who filmed La Bonne Année with him, and a program dedicated to Roberto Alagna, as well as to Dany Boon”. Big program for Michel Drucker, happy with the success of his irremovable show: “I am very happy that it continues. We are between 750,000 and 1 million spectators every week”. An audience in fact more than satisfactory for “Sunday at lunchtime”.
