“Misleading press release”, threat of “financial blackmail”: rapper Nekfeu responds to accusations of rape and violence from his ex-wife

Me Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, the lawyer for Ken Samaras (Nekfeu), published this Monday, November 4, on her X account, a press release in response to the accusations of the rapper's ex-wife.

This Sunday, November 3, Me Florence Fekom, the lawyer for Nekfeu's ex-wife, published on her X account, before the latter was suspended by the platform, a press release in which her clients accuse her ex-husband of rape and violence against him.

She also assured that she left Mr. Samaras (Nekfeu), while she is pregnant “to protect themselves and their unborn child”.

But now, faced with these accusations, the main person concerned has decided to break his silence. It was his lawyer, Me Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, who also published a press release on her X account this Monday, November 4, thus sharing Nekfeu's response.

The latter denounces “an entirely false and defamatory press release” and deplored the fact of finding themselves in a situation “humiliating” while “I believe that we must redouble our efforts to make the voices of women victims of violence heard.”

Still according to the press release, the singer indicates that these accusations have “already been dismissed by the courts” and that his ex-wife was “arrested last night for the worrying disappearance of my 3-year-old son” while the latter has had custody of the child since “mars 2024”.

She would also have refused the divorce proceedings initiated three years ago by Ken Samaras (Nekfeu) and she would have tried “financial blackmail, threatening me to go to the media if I did not pay him a large sum”.

He adds: “I had already transmitted to the police all the elements proving my innocence and the malicious intentions of my ex-wife, private exchanges of which and testimonies from her own family confirm my words. She will be tried again in January 2025.”
