Thrash Metal band Exodus delighted their fans by unveiling a cover of the title Beating Around The Bush by AC/DC, originally released in 1979. Recorded during the sessions for their album Persona non grata in 2021, this version pays homage to one of Exodus’ favorite bands. Featuring a blistering guitar solo from Rick Hunolt, the band’s original guitarist, this cover has become a staple of their concerts, offering a faithful and energetic rendition that resonates with their audience.
A declaration of love to AC/DC
In a message accompanying the release of this track, Exodus shared his passion for the legendary Australian group: “While recording Persona Non Grata, we quietly worked on a few covers of our favorite bands, and none meant more to us than AC/DC! So we decided to come up with our own version of Beating Around The Bush. We love this song and we are super proud of our cover.
