Florent Pagny sings to free Paul Watson, whale defender detained in Greenland

“If we don’t do anything for him, humanity will have problems,” Florent Pagny told “Parisien”.

He speaks out for a good cause. A collective piece

“This guy has been fighting to defend whales since the 1970s. If we don’t do something about him, humanity will have problems.”assures the artist affected by this cause and who has a house in Patagonia where he is used to observing these mammals.

If Florent Pagny recorded this title in full, other artists will add their voices to this collective piece. The singer Cali confirmed to the daily that he would be part of the adventure, just like Véronique Sanson, Anne Sylla, Arielle Dombasle, David Hallyday, Manu Lanvin, Fabienne Thibeault, Yannick Noah or the group Tryo, who are also expected.

The fact that Francis Lalanne – who became suspicious because of his proximity to Dieudonné and his theories on Covid – is at the origin of this project does not bother Florent Pagny. “I never subscribed to his delusions”he defends himself. “But I’ve known him for thirty-five years and when he sends me this song, I ignore all that”. A Japanese version of the song was also recorded “to disseminate it to public opinion there”confirmed to the daily the lawyer Emmanuel Ludot, also mobilized.
