Icon of French song, she left behind an immense void in the hearts of her admirers, her loved ones but especially Thomas Dutronc, her son. This Wednesday, October 9, he was the guest on the show In Apartbroadcast on Canal+. The latter was answering Nathalie Lévy’s questions when one of them particularly bothered him. “Do you say “I love you” easily? Did she tell you?” asks the journalist. Thomas Dutronc first responded: “Oh yes…” before stopping, stuttering a few words then continuing: “When you say “I love you easily”, I imagined myself at the bakery. “Can I have a pain au chocolat? In his own way, Françoise Hardy’s son managed to dodge an intimate question that embarrassed him, showing humor. “We can say “I love you” like that to people who do nice things to us, someone who smiles at you in the street. It’s perhaps a little excessive, we risk finding ourselves locked in,” he confided.
