Léon Marchand’s exploits are not limited to swimming. The Olympic champion bluffed Mouloud Achour last week on Clique by solving a Rubik’s Cube in front of him in just a few seconds. While working on the puzzle, the professional swimmer revealed that he had even participated in French championships, in particular thanks to his father’s enthusiasm.
“When I couldn’t sleep, I would come and wake him up,” he recalled. “We were going to play chess, we were talking about Rubik’s Cube. He didn’t know how to do it but wanted me to learn and I watched (on) YouTube. […]. At the time, I could solve it in about 15 seconds. »
