DXMON is separating from one of its members and will continue with five.
DXMON started last January as a six-member group, but for several months the group has been working as a five-piece because Jo has been on hiatus for health reasons since June.
At the end of September, the group’s agency then made his departure official, explaining that he would not return and that the group would continue without him, declaring:
“DXMON will continue to be a five-member group after member Jo’s departure.
On September 29 KST, the debutant group’s agency, H MUSIC Entertainment, released an official statement via DXMON’s fan cafe. The statement reads:
“Hello, this is H MUSIC Entertainment.
We would like to inform you about the future activities of DXMON and member Jo.
Jo recently took a break for health reasons, and after extensive discussions with us, he has decided to end his activities with DXMON.
DXMON will continue to promote as a five-member group in the future, and we ask that you continue to send your warm support to Jo as he follows his new path.
We would like to thank all the fans who have always loved DXMON. THANKS. »
Jo therefore leaves DXMON eight months after the group’s debut.
