Christina Aguilera is going all out to mark the 25th anniversary of her debut album. The singer has released a six-song EP featuring covers by Sabrina Carpenter and Machine Gun Kelly and a performance video live on Spotify.

Christina Aguilera’s Instagram account is full of glamorous photos from the celebratory evening, dubbed What a Girl Wants in homage to his popular song which was on his first eponymous album released in 1999.
We see her in particular in the company of the new darling of music, Sabrina Carpenter. Because the 43-year-old singer had the brilliant idea of inviting the performer ofEspresso to revisit with her What a Girl Wants.

On Spotify, EP 25e Christina Aguilera’s birthday features six legendary pieces beautifully revisited: Come on Over, Genie In a Bottle (in rock version with Machine Gun Kelly’s guitar), Obvious, I Turn to You, What a Girls Wants (with Sabrina Carpenter) and Reflection.
This release is accompanied by a 26-minute film of performances with his guests and a group of gospel music singers.

“Happy 25the birthday to the voice that has inspired me throughout my life. I love you Christina Aguilera and I am honored to have been able to sing What a Girl Wants with you and to have been part of such a special celebration,” Sabrina Carpenter told her 40.5 million Instagram followers.
