Nolwenn Leroy soon to be the mother of a second child? “We’ll see what surprises life has in store for me”

At almost 42 years old, Nolwenn Leroy leads a busy life between her artistic career and her role as a mother. In a recent interview with RFM, the artist spoke with great emotion about her family life and her desire for a second child.

Nolwenn Leroy, a multifaceted artist

Revealed to the general public by Star Academy more than 20 years ago, Nolwenn Leroy has never ceased to surprise her audience. An accomplished singer, she recently added a new string to her bow by launching into comedy. After a notable first role in Capitaine Marleau, here she is starring in TF1’s new event series, Brocéliande.

In this fiction, Nolwenn plays Fanny Legoff, a brilliant biologist who returns to her native to elucidate the disappearance of her best friend. A role that allows her to reconnect with her roots and show the extent of her acting talent.

Motherhood, a life-changing experience for Nolwenn Leroy

Mother of a little Marin born in 2017 that she had with Arnaud Clément, Nolwenn Leroy is full of praise for her role as a mother. In an interview with Télépro last May, she confided: “He’s the love of my life! He’s my little boy. I’m speaking for myself and I’m not saying that when you don’t have children, you haven’t experienced great love, but it’s true that when you have your first child, it’s indescribable.”

Nolwenn Leroy describes this close relationship with her son as a unique experience: “He is part of me and I am part of him. It is very difficult to put into words this mother-son relationship. But it is extraordinary.” For the artist, motherhood is an unparalleled source of fulfillment: “The discussions I can have with him make me grow a lot. He’s my favorite person.”

A second child? No rush

In front of Bernard Montiel on RFM, Nolwenn Leroy spoke about her desire to have a second child. If the desire is there, the singer does not want to rush anything: “Oh, we’re not there yet! I really want to, but forecasts are not my thing.”

True to her philosophy of life, Nolwenn prefers to let things happen naturally: “Maybe I don’t provoke things enough, I don’t know, but I trust the timing… You know, I’ve never planned anything in my life and I don’t like that.”

Grateful for what life has already offered her, Nolwenn maintains a positive attitude towards the future: “It’s already a blessing to have a little boy. After that, we’ll see what surprises life has in store for me.”
